I have always been obsessed with the octopus. I am even planning on getting a tattoo of an octopus and have begun a sketchbook devoted purely to octopuses (before you correct me, it can be either octopi OR octopuses) while I am working on the design. I had so much fun combining classic henna designs into the above drawing that I had to make a coloring sheet! You can download my henna octopus to print out and color in yourself!
I've been working hard on my latest illustration that I'm producing as a limited edition 11" x 17" print that be available for purchase at the Olympia Comics Festival!
The idea came after I watched the movie Hidden Figures. They kept talking about the "go/no-go" point of getting a ship out of orbit so it could land on Earth. I like to listen to guided meditations and one of my favorite ones talks about the "go/no-go" point in your gut when you know exactly how you feel about a choice or a situation. The way forward on this illustration came together pretty quickly!
The other day our GM ran us through a fun dungeon in the under dark. With his permission, I've tweaked and created my own version of this Dark Tower. For non-commercial use only.
This long forgotten watchtower looks over an abandoned battlefield--can be inserted into any under the dark adventure.

Here's my first test coloring in Dragonwell.
And here's a first peek at the Greater Weylands. I imagine this as two formally joined countries now at war, or at least a stalemate, with one another. I see Neema as being mostly rainforest and fishing and Weyland being drier cattle land and farm land. I'm also trying to work on my lettering. And Fey, of course, is magical in some way and everyone avoids it.
